Ed Pickart
Producer / Production Manager / Director / Editor
Ed is a producer, director, and editor who's been turning raw footage into finished stories since the 1990s: first in medical and health video, then in network sports and children's programming, and since 2007 at Motionpost, the company he co-founded with Jeff.
His credits: Series Lead Editor on Preps: Chicago Hoops for FOX. Series Lead Editor and Post Supervisor on Jack's Big Music Show for Noggin, and on Fields of Glory, Hardwood Heavens, and Nike Training Camp for MOJO. Producer and Editor on the PBS documentary D-Day Warriors: The Charles Shay Story. Editor and Post Supervisor on the independent documentary Fordson: Faith, Fasting, Football, which went on to win prizes at multiple festivals - plus a handful of Telly Awards along the way.
He's worked with the American Medical Association, Adobe, Accenture, ESPN, CBS Sports, and the Chicago History Museum, among others.
What he brings to a project: communication and storytelling, and the ability to take an organization's messaging goals and turn them into video that actually lands.
Off the clock, Ed is a diehard tabletop game master. He's always looking for an independent short or documentary to work on.
